So when me and my friends try to play Ranked, it tells us our difference in skill rating is too big. But none of us have done our placements yet. So I’m very confused about all this and it’s basically ruining our time with the game.
Your ratings are still created from QP.
Idk for sure but my guess is mmr exists in qp and spills into ranked. Or one person played a game without you or you all played together and the game caused each person to be massively different.
We all tested playing it with only one other of us. None of us can play with each other

When I posted something similar about open queue, someone mentioned it’s a new account bug. But I was able to play Role queue with those new people but not open queue. I would suggest placing and see where it goes.
why don’t you all just play ONE game solo, win or lose who care but have you and all your friends ask your team mates what their ranks are. you can get an idea then of where you are all at.
If you got a friend in a lobby with 4 other bronze 5’s and then your other friend is in a lobby with gold / plat players, you will have your answer then.
