Can't play - extreme lag and unsteady ping

I was playing just fine the other night then it suddenly became unplayable in the middle of a match. My ping was fluctuating a lot and has been ever since. I can’t even play custom games. The moment I try to get into a match it either completely freezes before I can even select a hero and then get thrown out of the match, or I do get into a game but its just constant lag. I play on laptop with wifi and I have already tried resetting the internet and whatnot, and even tried ethernet which was no difference at all. Idk what to do.

What speed is your internet connection and who is your ISP?

My speed is 165/175 and ISP is frontier. I’m starting to think its a problem with my network adapter. I disabled it and re-enabled it and suddenly I’m able to play again. I don’t know how long that will last tho!

Have been having the same issues ever since S10 started. Ping fluctuations, rubber banding etc.
The issue is not present in other online games

I’m on NA servers and there’s going to be a scheduled update on the 24th. I’m wondering if that may help some of us having issues since the season started.
