Can't open the game

When trying to play overwatch (on steam) after the season 14 update the game straight up doesn’t start and an error window pops up “no compatible graphics card was found (0xE0070100)” . I already tried changing my screen’s resolution, updating my gpu’s drivers (they were up to date), uninstalling and reinstalling the game, installing and running it through battlenet launcher (same error pops up). Is there anything that can be done? I was playing completely fine until this update. My graphics card is an rtx 4080, processor ryzen 7 5700.
I’d greatly appreciate any help thanks.

Could you post a DXDiag? Also are you using a laptop?

Hello SinnamonRoll!
Would you be able to post a DXDiag report here? We can use that to help troubleshoot what is stopping Overwatch from starting up.

Thanks!

Hi! Ive never done that before so I hope this is okay! dxdiag - Pastebin.com
Also, no, I’m not on a laptop, I’m on pc

Perfect thanks! Thanks again for the help!

Potentially an issue with the Microsoft driver that controls alternative input devices, like controllers.

I have the same problem

Can you post your DxDiag?

Is your monitor connected to your motherboard or GPU. If it is connected to your motherboard try connecting it directly to the GPU.

My monitor is connected to gpu https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d-6NE51JCS4KxHlkS7g4tOycjuHF6vyy/view?usp=sharing

You could try to unplug and plug in the monitor again and see if that helps.

Still doesn’t work. Tried all methods

Same error. Blizzard please do something.

Are you running the app in a virtual machine or using WINE?
