There are people, who can snoop your btag through the forum. I had some adding me like this. It´s slightly creepy tho xD
In my limited experience, making friends in OW is really rare but if it happens those friends are really fun to play with - do you follow up your friend requests with any messages when possible? I personally break in hives if I get random friend requests/invites, even though I don’t mind having more friends within the game :'D
I do find I need to constantly be the first to talk and follow up on days later to keep people engaged to play with you but even then just saying hi a day or two later to see if they want to play gets you unfriended lol
sadly, i am on pc, but feel free to add me.
sorry about the horrible exp
I rarely accept friend invites from within this game, most of the time they are just trying to invite me to trash talk what they couldn’t finish saying in the last match cause it ended.
lol. thats true you are not wrong. many of such players
Most of my OW2 friends were made while using voice chat in a social / positive manner. Apparently non-toxic mic users are quite rare.
Most of my random friend requests in the last year or so have been people adding me just to flame/yell at me. More bad than good now. Though the last good one was a pair of girls wanting to add me to check out my YouTube channel. They were asking why I’m called CopShowGuy and the answer is on YouTube. I’m the guy from Cop Show.
This is one of the reasons why my reaction is what it is, and I personally would prefer a follow up message to clear things up and ease my nerves. I get occasionally messages on PSN from kids who think they’re in charge and have some kind of power/dominance over me if they come mouthing off at me, and that alone is annoying enough.
My last friend request that I accepted came from a guy and his friends in the Olden Times of OW1, after we had a hilarious match where he tried to challenge my friend over and over again (he was playing Wrecking Ball and my friend was Ana), got slept, then killed and my friend always greeted him after. We still play together whenever we’re online at the same time.
I feel you OP. I still have a couple of friends I play with but it is hard making friends in OW. I also lost a good friend group. It has gotten lonely. You want to play sometime? On PC so it’d be casual but can do shenanigans.
dude same here. i play aloe now
imagine removing LFG and saying “it’s a team game” while shoving solos vs. stacks nonstop.
pov keeping ur socal bloated salary job directing a flunking game.
OP if you want to play sometime I will but has to be after the 15th for me. I am currently cramming for exams but should be done after the 15th
99% of my game it is just me now… I hope the devs are looking for ways to encourage players to make friends again. LFG was a really good idea but it was overly easy to exploit and there was a lot of bullying.
Yeah I once found a place for adult aged overwatch players. But they were mean so I left. I just play alone unless my couple of friends want to play with.
