Console is console, being on PlayStation doesn’t actually matter that much. I started my Overwatch career on Xbox One before switching to PlayStation in Overwatch 2, season 5 or 6? The console pool includes players from Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo.
Thank you to everyone else who also wrote back in the topic. I’m glad I can see others with similar issues, I just wish I had friends to play with.
All of my Overwatch friends were randoms made through positive interactions in team chat. Play nice and be nice and you’ll attract people who are nice.
I try, but the issue is that after a couple of days they suddenly unfriend you.
Its because OW2 got rid of that feature where you can group up with randos.
Yeah. I admittedly have had plenty of that too. You get a few good games with them but the alliance dissolves over a few days. Plus I’m not that chatty so I don’t really seek to join people’s games. Don’t try to keep everyone but maybe maintain a few if you can.
I’ve gotten a lot of friends recently through custom games. Just through silly pve and boss killing modes.
Chat a bit, make a joke about something funny. Maybe stay until tje end of a long custom game
(Pve bossfights can take hours)
You’ll build a camaderie on the fact that you persevere together against the stacking odds.

OP likes to add friends and then remove them if they don’t play for 2 or 3 days at a time.

It was definitely easier to make friends in the old Overwatch.
They really went out of their way to destroy all the basic principles of the game. 
I added you cause I wanted people to play with, but you told me you no longer play Overwatch cause you think it’s awful. Then you just started advertising Marvel Rivals so I unfriended you.

i havent played with a friend in a long time though it could be that i can get annoying sometimes though one of my friends i sometimes played with she is busy with her new job now but i play on pc
All the friends I made were outside Overwatch. I remember I once joined a discord group to play OW2 that’s how I made some friends to play together.
My friends are mostly from other games. Somehow on OW2 people don’t like to be social in my experience.
I’m a 38 year old guy who doesn’t really care enough to get butthurt if someone “holds me back” I am down to play with anyone if you would like a buddy. I’m a lone wolf too since everyone I know abandoned this game long ago.

If you don´t mind to play on stream, he streams daily and there is always a free slot.

You should of read my post before friending me, I in fact said I wasn’t even playing so I figured you just wanted to be friends with me regardless of overwatch. Guess I was wrong.
