I was queueing for stadium and got suspended after finding a game. I will find a game, get a “Failed to connect” message, and then go to try again only to find myself suspended. The first one was fine, a 15 minute suspension, I figured something was up with the servers and tried again after the wait period. The second time, it happened again and now I’m suspended for an hour. I figured, I’d try to play QP after rebooting the client, but can’t connect to that either. I even tried to spectate someone else’s game and couldn’t connect. What gives?
I had this happen to me when I tried to get into a Competitive Match. I got to the Ban phase of the match, then it seems the whole server received a “Failed to connect to server.” message and then I was kicked out and received a 15 minute ban from Competitive .
It happened a second time, and now I have a 1 hour lockout of Competitive.
Same here… Waiting for a game… looks like it connected then sent me back to the menus. I went to go join a game and I got a 15 min penalty. Went to play a few hours later and things were fine for a few games. Went to join another game and it went back to the main menu. Went to look for another game and now I have an hour penalty. I’m guessing this is a bug
Same issue for me since Mid Season Update yesterday.
Receive Yelllow-Text “failed to connect to server” at the bottom left of my screen while searching for game.
Have tried several fixes: Such as Scan & Repair, Check for Updates, Flush DNS, IP Release/Renew, etc…
Can maybe join 1 out of every 10 games I queue for regardless of it being Quick Play, Arcade, Comp, etc…
