Can't choose different Playback Device

I currently cannot select a different playback device. The device list only has “default” available as an option.

Using a Logitech USB headset - I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled the device and tried moving it to a different port - no change. Other programs on my machine can see it (Blizzard App, Discord, OBS). If I change the USB headset to the default audio device in the Sound settings menu of Windows 10 it will work (but I don’t want to have to swap default audio devices every time i play).

Try manually resetting your Overwatch settings. Note this will wipe out your video and audio settings (but not your gameplay control settings).

I gave that a try - did not affect anything.

I opened a ticket with Blizzard support. They have had me try a barrage of other things as well, so far nothing has helped.

I’m currently leaning towards a Windows update may have modified something on my system that is preventing Overwatch from detecting the additional audio device.

And you did verify your Windows Microphone Privacy settings are allowing Overwatch to use the microphone correct? (Chances are the support agent suggested this, but I want to make sure.)

Is there any solution on this topic now? Have same issue.

The only solution i have fount is to manualy choose the device that ow will use in sound settings, the game itself still showing only default but as in settings the default option is the one you selected should be fixed
