There’s a reason tanking isn’t going to improve in OW2.
As long as players who can’t aim exist, tanks will be the eternal punching bag in OW. Do you think I want to spam that Reinhardt? You think I don’t want to shoot that Mercy 40m away standing in the open?
Bottom line is players can’t aim so they just shoot the biggest thing on the screen. I’m guilty of it at times. So are you. Sometimes you delete a tank. Other times you get team wiped b/c you’re not pressuring their DPS. It’s honestly a crutch we should quit, but it’s too easy to just spam the big boi instead of repositioning for better angles past them. The return for spamming tanks is fairly consistent: resources expended keeping them alive, sometimes killing them, and gaining ground in the process. This idea of not pressuring DPS and supports is lost on so many in the community. It’s why they complain Bap Immort is OP or Ana Nade is OP.
We’ll have your tried shooting them first instead of rectangle man?
