I have been playing ranked for some time now, and I cant advance from gold 3 as healer. Its so depressing. I have won 5 games 4 times now and I still get put into gold 3.
I go 5-2, 5-0, 5-4, 5-3. And still I dont advance. it makes ranked very boring.
Does anybody have the same issues?
your career profile shows 25 total wins on support this season so far. how many total games do you have? ( I can’t see that on the webpage version of your profile… ) are you in a net positive win rate?
in this post you are telling us about only 20 of your 25 total wins… and only 29 of your games I can count from your post. you got a bunch of missing games so I can’t really answer your question…
was one of your rank up cards a 5-18 or something? 20 out of 29 total games is impressive but it’s not the whole story. You’d have a near 70% win rate this season if that’s all and in that case obviously you should rank up.
EDIT: Best I can work out from looking over what’s available on your profile is this.
Ana win rate is only 57%, and your kiriko win rate is 44%. Those are the only 2 hero’s you have played this season.
I’m going to guess your overall win rate is about 52% or something and you’ve played something like maybe 45-50 total games… but overall your “up” like maybe 2 or 3 wins from square 1 where you started.
That’s your answer. Stop paying attention to the score card thing … I’m sorry on blizzards behalf on how stupid that thing is but if you ever wanna know whether you should be ranking up or not you gotta look at your overall win rate… 55%+ expect to climb slow. Less than that expect to stay the same or derank. - At your current win rate I’d expect to remain gold 3 all season with an occasional derank or up rank of 1 division but overall remaining about where you are.
Thanks for making time to do a long answere. I have played through 2 seasons. I almost only play Ana and I think with a winrate at 57 % to use your numbers, should be better than gold 3. When I was at my best I was soloing with Ana to masters.
Anyway, when you are 5-3 and the rank still doesnt change. its so depressing. I liked it much better when you had visible MMR.
agreed… as long as your 55%+ though give it time. its still early days in ranked I imagine you will climb quickly with your current win rate but it’s gonna take more than 50 total games.
