I cannot get past Gold 2.
I’ve ranked up to Gold 2 or 3 multiple times now and it ALWAYS puts me back down to silver.
I just had a game, in Gold 5, 5 wins - 4 looses and it de-ranked me back to Silver 1?
I’ve had games in Gold 2 where I’ve had 5 wins - 6 looses and its put me back to Silver 1 each time.
Is this a known bug and is anyone else having the same issue…?
i have the same problem, i was in masters last season and this season I’ve dropped to plat even if I don’t lose much. it keeps saying I’m better than 95%, but I keep dropping?

yeah but 5 wins - 4 looses? or 5 wins - 6 looses?
those are two very different scenarios LOL. One youre going up and the other youre going down. But if you take both of them and average them out youre going 1 win for every 1 loss. This means youre were youre supposed to be. The way ranks work in this game is percent based. As more people join the comp latter and pass you it will inevitably push you down if youre going even. For example lets say Gold and higher is top 90%. Antoher way of wording this is 10% of players are Silver or Bronze. As people in those ranks go up and some of them make it to be above you (lets just say plat to make it simple) it pushes you down. If you keep playing and going even (aka 5-5 average) youre not actively going up while those other people (the ones who made it to plat) are . This, in turn, “pushes” you down to silver as the players who were previosly silver have surpased you because they were going 5-3, 5-2, or 5-0 many sessions in a row.
Well some might argue you were never supposed to be in Masters in the first place.
nah thats not it, ive been in masters for multiple seasons solo queing and high diamond before that. and like I said the game keeps saying I’m better than 95% of players in plat
I understand if it said im only 50-60% better and I derank or stay the same, that’s fair. But I’m just confused cause it says 95%. I’ve seen it happen with many other people too
