I cannot get OverWatch 2 to launch on PS5. I had previously merged my PlayStation account with my battlenet account when initially launched overwatch 2 back at release. I also installed the DLC pack I purchased. Now the game will not load at all on PS5.
I have tried deleting and reinstalling the game. I’ve deleted and restablished LAN and Wi-Fi network connections. I’ve also tested network connectivity a host of ways and the network itself is fine.
Overwatch 2 works on my Xbox (using a different account), but I cannot get the game or PS account to load on my ps5.
I keep getting a “something went wrong” NP-104602-3 error when it is at the “Loading Preferences” screen.
I tried delinking and relinking my BattleNet/PlayStation accounts and that did not resolve the issue.
I am now sometimes intermittently getting a different error: “the connection to the server has been lost. There might have been a problem in connecting to the network, or PlayStation Network or the server if the service provider might be temporarily busy” CE-113202-9.
The can’t get past the “loading preferences screen”at all.

I’m having the exact same issue, The game was perfectly fine last night was able to play smoothly just a few bits of lag but that’s pretty normal for me,
As soon as i log back on in the morning i was having that, “ NP-104602-3 “
message as well, ive done all the troubleshooting requested for it such as changing the wifi frequency bands from automatic to 5GHz etc,
I can’t even play half of my games like apex legends etc
i will keep trying different solutions to see if i can help our situation
It’s happening to a lot of people it seems,
My internet provider is BT and ive seen some posts on the OW discord and playstation discord about some people having issues with BT
Thanks for the responses. It sucks others are experiencing this issue, but at least it confirms that I am not the only one. I’ve tried everything and still can’t even load the game.
