Cannot find matches, empty custom games, missing ranks and l

Hello,

I’ve been having serious issues with Overwatch 2 on PS4 for several days now.

  • Matchmaking does not work — I can’t find any game, even after waiting over 50 minutes.

  • Custom games browser shows zero lobbies (no games listed at all).

  • My competitive rank is missing (displays as unranked), and I can’t see the Top 500 leaderboard (shows “no players found”).

  • The game works fine on a second PSN account on the same console, so the issue seems tied to my Blizzard account.

  • My internet connection is stable.

  • I’ve already tried everything: reinstalling the game, resetting router, checking NAT, restarting console, and verifying the SMS number linked to my Battle.net account.

This problem has been going on for over 4 days now and I’ve already submitted support tickets. The GMs told me to report this here for the dev team to investigate.

Please let me know if any logs or data are needed. I really want to get back into the game.

The issue is still present.

Custom game lobbies are still empty.

Ranked mode still shows as “unranked” with <7 or <10 matches even after several hours in queue.

Leaderboards still not visible.

The “Stadium” mode still shows up as “new” every time I launch the game.

I’ve tried all suggested steps from Blizzard Support, including reinstalling the game, testing another PSN account, checking NAT, and confirming my phone number is linked.
They informed me that the issue is most likely server-side and forwarded my report to the developers.

I’m just posting here to keep this visible and to check if anyone else is still affected.

Update – May 20th

Still experiencing the same issue:

Ranked progress is stuck (still shows <7 or <10 matches completed).

Leaderboards are empty.

Game modes like “Stadium” still appear as new every time.

Matchmaking doesn’t find any matches after long queues.

New detail:
Today I noticed that when entering Custom Games > All Games, I can now see 2 lobbies listed, whereas before it was completely empty. It’s a small change, but everything else remains broken.

I’m still waiting for a fix and posting here to keep the report updated and visible.

Update– May 23th:
A few days ago, I noticed a slight change: for a brief moment, in the “All Games” section of the Custom Games browser, one single lobby appeared. However, yesterday and today it’s back to how it was before—no lobbies visible, leaderboards still completely empty, and my competitive ranks still showing as not yet placed.
It seems that small sign of activity was only temporary. The issue is still ongoing with no improvement.

Still the same problem, nothing more, nothing less. I don’t notice any changes or anything different than before

Hi, I have the exact same issue on my ps5. It has been like this for nearly 4 months and unable to find a singular game. Works fine on a different account but not on a different ps5. Ive spoken to Blizzard multiple times upon this issue and theyve never resolved it. Cant even queue with a friend whos account is fine either.
