Cannot do placements with friends

Why can I not do placements with my friends now? What is the basis for this? Two unranked and 1 in plat. Should be able to do the matches with them.

Hello,

For this season there is a new rule.

If you had been Master in previous saisons, you are not be able to groupe with XXX (i don’t know the limitation. Currently i know you can’t group with other unranked less than master in previous saisons).

I let someone to correct me if i’m wrong.

Thanks for the reply. The limitations in level are understandable. what isn’t understandable is the fact that I cannot do placements matches with a person in plat even though I have never placed in comp (new account). This doesn’t make sense. Same thing happened with the recent 6v6 comp elim. Correct me if I’m wrong but bronze to plat can do placements ~1000 dif and diamond+ is ~500, and then only those in your rank.
