I am unable to bind the forward slash key (/) to anything in game. It comes up with an error “/ cannot be bound to …”. In my case I am trying to bind this to toggle crouch, however, this happens to every action I have tried.
When pressing / in-game it comes up with the chat box which is very annoying considering I use a smaller keyboard and I am left handed so use the right side of said keyboard.
Please fix!
There’s nothing to fix, since it’s working as intended. That key is used to input commands and for the chat, so you cannot bind it to an action. You’ll need to choose another key.
But surely it should only be used for input commands once inside the text box? Why would you need it to actually open that box when you also have another keyable button to open a text box?
On another account I have the / key is working perfectly fine as a bindable button so not sure why this is the case on this one? Is there any way that the keybinds from this account be transferred?
It can’t do both things, each bind can only have one purpose.
