I’m unbelievably frustrated at how completely helpess OW players are forced to be if we can’t figure something out.
I have the “error” that you get when you have too many pending sent friend requests. I’ve been told, not by Blizzard, but by other players, that I need to go to Battlenet and cancel them.
I have Battlenet reinstalled on my phone, and I STILL CAN’T FIND IT.
If somebody can help me I’m genuinely to the point where I’m either gonna scream or cry. I considered opening a ticket, but I can’t even figure out how to do that.
Do I need to call Blizzard to actually get help with this?
No, what I’m talking about is an issue where you’ve reached the limit of pending sent requests.
I can’t send any more requests to other people, because some people don’t accept or decline friend requests. They just keep them.
But I’m supposedly able to go to Battlenet, and see all the pending friend requests I’ve sent. But I don’t have a PC, so I’m trying to use the App, and not seeing an option for it.
I might simply not be able to send friend requests again unless I buy a pc.
No mobile doesn’t have anything for that! I appreciate you trying to help but I think since I don’t have a pc, I might just not be able to send friend requests anymore.
The mobile app just shows me which of my friends are online, and the mobile site doesn’t seem to have what the PC site does.
I freaking don’t understand why this is an issue! I just wanna be able to friend people!
And waiting to see if Blizzard responds to my posts in bug report and technical problems is hopeless.
Hi, based on a quick research from previous posts the issue is still present.
Meaning you can’t remove pending friend requests from mobile app.
None of the posts that I just saw did not get any reply or were being addressed by Blizzard Support.
From what I understand you don’t have an access to PC atm, if you have a reliable friend text them and ask them to login into Desktop app on your behalf, remove all the pending requests from your account so you can function on mobile app which is obviously not well made.
If by any chance you can’t or don’t want to reach out to people from your friend list with above suggested solution I can do it for you.
Obviously if you have enough trust in me, I’m just willing to help.
You can change your password afterwards to be on the safe side, but I have zero interest in your account (having two accounts myself that I don’t even play that often anymore).
el em aye oh. um do you honestly think that that’s actually the issue? if so, re-read it until it no longer makes any sense. what does make sense however is those who criticize game, get their accounts sabotaged. as i’ve proven. need proof? switch accounts. suddenly, magically you’re able to send friend request on whatever account you switched to. which proves selective sabotage. since this happened to you 4 days ago, well think about any valid criticism that you posted 4 days ago that caused a bitter lizard to sabotage your account. as they did mine. following eloquent outspokenness.
Thanks for the response and offer. I think I have someone who’s computer I can probably use.
This whole ordeal has been unpleasant to a degree that only Blizzard can make it. And like you’ve said, I’m nowhere near the first person to struggle with this.
They atleast need to tell players what the problem is, instead of saying it’s an “internal error”.
You’re welcome. If you don’t manage to solve your issue my offer still stands, we can even make an remote desktop connection so you have insight what is being made in real time.
We all know at this point how much they care about their playerbase, so its no surprise things are like this.
Funcionality like this should be implemented in mobile app as well, not to look as its in beta phase of development.
Once more, good luck with your issue.
If needed reach out to me and we’ll get it done. Take care and good luck.
You can also open desktop sites from your mobile browser, if for some reason it doesn’t work otherwise. Or at least you can in firefox. It’s not always pleasant, and sometimes not even functional, but it’ll probably work.
none of what you described is whats actually happening. the entire issue is artificially created by devs to selectively sabotage outspoken forum users. if what you described was valid, then how come i’m having the same sabotage occur on console? which has zilch to do with the app? here’s how, all devs need is your battlenet id regardless of your platform, to sabotage your account. artificially impairing users from successfully sending friend request is fraud.
