Can you stream videos from your PS4 to twitch or do you have to record the video then post it. I’m just wondering because I’m trying to get some help from some coaches.

To stream from ps4, you need to have a capture card to capture your gameplay into a pc. The price is quite as much as a gtx1050 but you dont need a decent pc to stream only.

PS4 has a built in twitch streaming functionality. First press the “share” button, and select the broadcast option from the menu. It will then prompt you to pick between twitch, youtube, and one other option that I don’t remember. Upon selecting twitch, it will prompt you to go to twitch. tv/activate on a computer or other device while logged into your account to get a code to link your ps4 to your twitch account. After doing this you will be taken to a settings menu where you can select broadcast resolution, title, comment viewing, etc.
Finally, hit “broadcast” and you are good to go!
