I play Queen right? Here are some of my call outs.
“I got you Ana”
“Get off My Mercy get off my Mercy”
“I got you Lucio YAAH!”
“Are yall good back there”
“Get behind me”
“Let your tank take care of it”
“Ahh there appears to be a Venture attacking my Juno… that’s enough of that”
I peel for my supports quite frequently actually… even on a more “selfish” tank like queen? It’s always so cute watching Ana’s jump up and down spamming thank you after I save them from whatever big bad thought I wouldn’t throw my knife at them while they attacked her.
I’m a shot caller so understanding like mental is kinda part of the job, even just for Morality’s sake supports love it when you peel for them And also they don’t die and the fight quickly turns into a 2v1

Peel? I don’t eat fruits with peels.
How do I peel?
Unless you mean I peel for you?
Peel your own bananas.

“errrm actually supports have the most bloated abilities!”

It depends entirely on the tank that you choose to play as and how you position yourself, so some tanks are easier to peel with than others.
If i ever play tank, it is part of my mentality to kill the flankers before they get to my backline.
But if they slip by and i’m in a location where i can help, be it by repositioning or using abilities. I will smear that flanker on the pavement.
Be it with dva thrusters and missiles, orisa javelin, hog hook, firestrike/charge, knife or a boulder to the face. That flanker will be history.
Maybe it’s still the offtank player in me, or it’s a support player mentality. Idk.

I don’t talk much in games but I had one where I was playing Junkrat and my Ana was heading out of spawn. I noticed this Venture was once again harassing poor Ana so I took a mine up to where they were and blew them up! My Ana spammed thank yous and even at the very end typed “Thank you, Junkrat.” I thought it was adorable and I now wish to give her the adoption papers now that she realised the errors of her ways! Pharah now has a brother.
GG The end! <3

Ana players are so nice when you actually peel for them ^_^. I wonder why.

DPS rarely peel for their supports. Usually a second tank does the peeling. Now that they gone. Supports can look for each other.
I don’t count on anyone else in my team to help me except my other support, it just doesn’t happen in plat.
But in regards to your post, I do thank you for your contribution.

Peel is technically less necessary with the increased self reliance in the game….but I do find it funny how “peeling” is almost always A) a second/off tank’s job or B) somebody else’s job
Helpful tip…everybody can peel…Yall should try it
Especially nowadays when you got the sassy one running around in the back

This is so wholesome; I love it
It sounds like you really brighten up the VC with that fun vibe, on top of all the leaderly things. It’s stuff like this that makes me honestly wish I were able to exist in voice
Anyway, I played some OQ QP the other day, and I had this one Esperança match where I was keeping a very close eye on our solo-healing Juno. She was a little trooper. She was getting harassed by a Sombra, and later on a D.Va and even a Ball at some point. Maybe even more. I forget. But she somehow went most of the match without dying at all. I made it my solemn duty to be there for her and keep her cozy and safe

Usually when I have an immobile support or other dps on my team and I know the other team has Sombra, I usually go back to escort them back or use them as bait to kill the Sombra spawn camping.
Usually get a nano or a pocket as a gift for doing this.

Peel. I’ve been seeing this term a lot on the forums. I think what it means to intercept divers/ enemies intent on harming your support, or anybody really.
This is the 1st multiplayer game I’ve played/played this much.

Supports are not gonna get any help until you get to masters lol and even then it’s rare
As a tank you can’t often peel and take space at the same time, it’s no longer the tank’s job unless you’re something like D.Va (who is probably OP anyway).
Now enforcers are supposed to be DPS, but DPS are usually allergic to responsibility in OW2. Supports are often given enough tools to deal with a lot, but if you’re hoping a Ball peels for you, you’ll probably be left disappointed.

I have actually had Wrecking balls give me there overshields before, each and every time it’s been beneficial and even life saving.
Peeling as Queen isn’t hard it dosen’t mean my supports are bad or anything It means I didn’t hit my knife…
I try to but as a support main I am more critical when they need too much attention because I make it my priority when I play support to need as little help from my team as possible.
When I play support specifically though, I WILL KILL ALL MY TEAMMATES MYSELF if it means my co support survives. The bond we form when healing each other running away from our dead team is unbreakable

Overshields in your own team’s backline is one thing, leaving an engagement you’re in the middle of just to come back to do it is something completely else.

I’ll be honest, when my tank does this for me it makes me support moist and want to heal them even more.
