Can you lock a mouse in Borderless Windowed mode?

I wish to play in borderless windowed mode since I tend to do other stuff while in queue, however I recently got a second monitor and the mouse will tend to go outside the window if I make a quick turn in game. Is it possible to lock the cursor to the window unless the taskbar is visible while in borderless windowed mode?

Just alt tab if you want to do other stuff in queue. Windowed mode can introduce input lag in the first place.

I agree with the other guy, windowed mode is pepega.

But if you do want to, theres a tool for it.

Dual Monitor Tool. Theres actually a lot you can do with this thing, but for your purpose, you can use a hotkey to lock your cursor to one screen (the one its currently on) I used to use it on some games which didnt support fullscreen mode, or i didnt know how to use it (lol).

Alternatively, you can do alt + enter which cycles through windowed mode and fullscreen mode. This is what i do, since i like to tab out while in queue, but also be able to see my OW screen for messages or queue times etc.

That has never been the case. Games have historically always gotten higher frame rates in windowed mode, which is why the option was even introduced to games in the first place. The windowed mode cursor lock is available in Diablo 4, so Blizzard can definitely do it.

Ignoring the fact that you just necro’d a 4 year old thread, this is blatently untrue. Fullscreen exclusive mode is always considered the fastest option. If the game supports the proper swapchain type on Windows it can get the same performance and latency as fullscreen in borderless windowed mode. Normal windowed mode is always worse for performance and latency since it is composed to the screen by the desktop compositor.

My pc has 3 TVs and I play in window mode

Not borderless tho

But mouse always locks on the game while you are in a match

Going into a menu or anything else will unlock it; regardless of being inside a match.
