Can you judge poeple there skill on there Title?
No.
Even the basic GM challenger, Diamond Challenger, etc deserve some merit, but like any other vet they’re most likely fooling around til they get ticked off and swap to their mains.
Let’s face it. There is a lot of frustrating things about this game.
On the bright side. I can still give even GMs a run for their money.

In my experience, most people who use ranked titles are the worst ones in the round. The players who perform the best are mostly the people with meme titles or level 200 titles.

Honestly… no. I’ve literally seen “Grandmaster Role Challenger” on players who I’d swear never made it out of silver. You can be carried or boosted to pretty much any rank. You can cheat. You can buy accounts. Some people abuse the system by playing at odd off-hours when none of the actual good players are online to inflate their ranks. The rank distribution also seems like it’s been totally out of whack since like S3. I swear they hand out GM ranks like candy.
So I probably do deserve GM?

However, if there was ever to be a title called “Been playing OW since the OW1 beta but is still absolute trash at the game - GG go next” and I have that title-feel free to judge me on it and sorry in advance…
Yes you can. No one actually high level uses role based titles, so if I see someone in a game with grandmaster role challenger, for example, I assume they are not good enough to consistently be in that role

Dunno but I always avoided using GM role challenger because it could tilt people but I figure it gives everyone an idea of what ranks are in their match so I threw it on

They removed ranks being shown openly in the ranked matches, so then to add titles which can you wear everywhere…
