Look at the PTR. They are nerfing Lucio, but in a way that keeps him fun for Lucio players. They are nerfing Reaper’s life-steal and buffing Symmetra.

Well if they did the ptr valk changes to live, i’ll admit it. Still waiting their stance on this.
They nerfed half the support roster (Ana/Zenyatta/Lucio), Mercy not being nerfed is in itself a positive at this point.
Yeah that’s fair enough. Mercy doesn’t have much if that change isn’t intentional

I just want the slowdown to be removed, i don’t care about mass res or removing valk altogether. I’m happy enough if they partially remove it by having no slowdown only in valk.

What patch notes were you looking at? Lucio only got buffs on PTR, and Symmetra was kind of neutrally affected (better beam at no charge, worse at max charge, can’t multi-charge ultimates).
Edit: To be clear, I think it’s a good balance patch, but I don’t understand the thread post.

But they didn’t make the changes that I wanted, so obviously they’re still ignoring us. /s
It wasn’t a refusal to listen that we were mad about, it was not listening to the right people. No one asked for the Mercy rework. No one asked for Storm Arrow. No one asked for smaller Junkrat grenades.
Furthermore, they clearly listened to more kinds of players than others. The Bastion megatahread is still left with no replies or even an acknowledgement of its existence, as is the mercy megathread.
Now, it seems like they are finally starting now. However, it seems that they still don’t care about the less popular heroes like Junkrat, Sombra, and Bastion, who have gotten either meaningless changes that will in no way impact their strength, or no change at all.

I get what’re you’re trying to say but don’t try to pull the ‘no one asked’ excuse because people definitely DID ask.
None of these are happening.
Every DPS hero but them are being buffed, if you still can’t accept that they are balanced you need to get a grip at this point.
From what I saw his speed boost is not as effective for his teammates. The speed boost when amped up is also lowered.
He has more speed himself though when he wallrides.
You clearly were not on the forums pre rework Mercy.

I’m going to be the minority to say I actually want to see a few of the things on the PTR fail to make it to live.
I’d really just love to see that they’re putting content out there to be tested out.
I mean really this has been a significant problem for a LOT of the support roster. X hero isn’t bad, it’s just Y hero is massively overtuned and forces the meta around them.
Ana wasn’t terrible when she got piercing shots and the larger clip, she just wasn’t strong enough to dethrone Mercy in a Sniper based meta. Mercy right now isn’t terrible, but virtually every other healer does Deathball better and Ana is overtuned so she suffers from a lack of relevancy.
I think the nerfs to Ana should have been a bit more severe, but the nerfs to Lucio are absolutely massive and stand a good chance of forcing the meta to something a bit more Mercy friendly (see: anything that isn’t Deathball).

Unless there were unlisted changes/bugs related to that, the only change to his speed boost is that it can now boost “flying” heroes (like D.va boosters) that it previously couldn’t. He also gained the ability to knock those flying heroes around with his soundwave.
Reworks didn’t exist until Mercy’s rework. Blizzard started that trend and now, everytime a hero is seen as not working, people ask for reworks.
And who said they wanted Storm arrow in its place?
No one asked for Valkyrie. No one asked for Storm Arrow. Everyone did ask for changes to their existing abilities. Unless you would like to prove me wrong.
