just curious if that’s a thing, like skins and other things from the shop. hint hint blizzard…ya know you could make more money if you had that as a feature…

that’s what i was thinking…like…hold a raffle or something here on the forums…top 5 people get a free pink mercy bundle or something…but alas…it appears to not be in the cards.
based on your account region. some region able to gift and some region unable.
seems like an option in the blizzard shop. I haven’t gone through with it fully but it’ll take me all the way to the part where I pay for it.

now then…were i to hold a raffle of sorts…what’s a good way to do this? like…pick 5 numbers from 1 to 100 and the first 5 people that guess the numbers get gifted a skin? or is there a better way to do this?
might have a little fun this weekend…but not sure the best method and how to go about this lol
also, can you gift by battle tag?
In game I don’t think there’s an option. Wouldn’t be able to tell you for certain cause I own the skin and don’t have a purchase option anymore.
However to gift someone the skin you do need to have them on your friends list, you cannot just generate a code.

i could be friends for a short time, and then in the shop you just gift to the person on your friends list?

I wonder if theres a limit to the amount of friends you can have at once 
Probably the best way, Add them, gift, then give them a few days to redeem and if necessary remove them.
REMEMBER however… as charitable and nice as you might be being, people can report those on their friend list without ever playing a game with them.
So I applaud the idea… but it’s a little dangerous for whatever account you do it on. Maybe make an alt?

id just need to “friend” the 5 people who won…jsut long enough to do the gift and then i can get rid of them

Gift restriction, friends for 3 days if I recall. Not sure otherwise if there’s any region-lock boundaries, that being said, you can gift balance if I remember as well.

Send Blizzard balance, not coins. Probably also requires to be friend.
No, like you send them cash that they can spend technically anywhere in the blizzard store.
So it could go to that skin, someone decides to buy whatever in Diablo. Or a month of WoW. As long as Blizz is the seller, it works until you turn it into coins (or whatever currency that locks it to one game)

Yes, send me 20$ so I can play WoW and then remember that game doesn’t like anyone with less than 20 years of experience in an MMO.

ah ok, that’s an option…wish blizzard made it easier though…youd think they’d just make it to where you could just input their battle tag…ba da bing…over and done…but, they want to make selling items difficult i guess…
