I would write something horrible here. But this time i chose not too… fix your clown game. Marvel Rivals is better
Anyways. Read the dev updates, they are, as all games are, working on it.
You are posting in cheater forums. They don’t care about that here. This game is made by and for cheaters.
Accusing the devs of cheating…
That is certainly an interesting tactic.
A lot of the perceived cheating may in fact be part of the aim-assist and other rigging tech.
DDA: There are patented rigging ™ components purported to be in OW, that dynamically adjust in-game params like hitbox size, hitreg tolerance and cd prio. this can lead to feeling of sudden lag, noreg, io buffering, and ttk changes that somewhat force the interactions. the enemies seem to register almost for free, seem lag or speed compensated, and everything feels inconsistent.
this will go back/forth as the client receives ‘applying patch’ kind of commands between team fights, updating all kinds of state that shouldn’t change. that is the game trying to balance the teams when the population is so low not even MM level rigging will suffice.
Also note people will spoof behaviour at MM level to convince of ez lobby. They will half throw match then reveal peak ability and the game will compensate for that with DDA rigging against the “outlier” revealing themself (be it algorithmically handicapping params for/against). this part of it works like a ‘smurf arrest’ kind of shadowban, which is anti-competitive on many grounds, but also for reasons like mindgaming or removing the ability for players to foil their opponents with unorthodox play.
So the cheating problem may in fact be a studio-backed infringement problem via methods of rigging.
There aren’t.
Jeez. Take the tin foil hat off.
I don’t want to agree with you but it does feel like that sometimes with my shots. Some games it’s completely normal and other times it’s phasing through people. I just attribute the inconsistencies to dogsh** server hardware because they’re probably running OW2 on microwave chips to save money. I mean come on, we have 2 POPs Finland and NL, and even my Dutch friends don’t get below 23ms and still experience this BS
Part that, part 10 people playing on 10 different pings.
The “theory” above is nonsense.
Why should the enemy ping matter? The server doesn’t register your shots based on the enemy’s client position, it has its own position serverside which gets used when you shoot them.
What makes the theory “nonsense” exactly? Do you know any other FPS game that cheaps out on POPs? Why doesn’t CS just disregard this issue and keep trying to make it better, fixing desyncs and adding subtick system? Surely they wouldn’t invest so much time into it if it wasn’t an issue? When do you think the last time the developers gave a single thought about improving hitreg in this game?
complaining about 23ms…wow, im stoked if i get a game in the 70 range
Trust me when I say it doesn’t make a difference in this game. I’m complaining because of that.
YQH7CG Guess who’s the cheater.
Some of what you’re describing might be due to actual cheaters using “magic bullet” cheats that have been undetected on the market for half a decade.
They basically can lie to the server on if someone was actually aimed at or not, and completely pwn lag compensation.
Blizzard staff are unaware of this and have dug their heads in the figurative sand, because they don’t want to actually fund their anti-cheat effort.
true. lots of cheating tech going around and this company is doing nothing.
Committing libel is an interesting approach.
Thats the problem. Wallhackers, auto ability cheaters like auto deflect auto suzu auto bubble etc… The game needs a huge ban wave.
Yeah cause we haven’t heard that since you know the beginning of OW 1… Guess we wait for OW 7??
And what will that accomplish? Accounts are FREE TO MAKE. One gets banned they can have hundreds more waiting.
Marvel Rivals > This crap
They literally spoke about it about a month or so ago.
