Even when you play Bastion against Winston, you’re constantly shooting shields. I thought we got OW2 to get rid of double shield.

Winston is currently very well balanced, certainly doesnt need any nerfs.

Yeah this, theres so many other things that need better balancing properly Winston is very far down the list.

I actually hate playing against Winston because he is so suffocating for certain heroes, but yeah, tank has much bigger problems right now. Mauga, Hog, and especially Orisa are kind of nasty atm.

you can thank blizzard for increasing hp pools for that. all it did was made the already good heroes better and the bad heroes worse. the gap between them is far greater now
I’ve seen a lot of Bastions struggle to kill Winston, and I don’t get it. I play Winston, Bastion wrecks me regardless what I do unless I sniper monkey. These other Winston’s jump in and it’s free real estate.
Just how bad are these Bastion players?

Winston is played less than any other dive tank. He doesn’t need nerfs
just track his turret form and position. play slow and position yourself so you can use cover when he uses turret. or at least have your jump. after that it’s free real estate.
if bastion is the only “counter”, it’s free.
Maybe it’s you.
The many Winston I have seen are playing cover, are shield-dancing, and stuff.
Even in turret form, it takes a while to destroy his shield. And when his shield is destroyed, he can easily jump back to cover.
And turret form has a pretty big cooldown. Without turret form, Bastion gets destroyed by everything. I was against a Hanzo and he couldn’t miss me.
It’s really hard to kill a decent Winston.

The damage he blocks is not a problem, but the healing he is blocking is.
It takes Bastion 1.8 sec to destroy a full health Monke Bubble by himself. The heck you mean you are constantly shooting shields lol

And I have to swap to him because in 6 years none of my teammates have ever learned how to play with a Ball.
