Can you draw on an escort map ( discord argument)

so me and a few people are arguing on discord during the OWL games and people are saying that you can draw on a payload map. i am saying no but now i need the devs to back me up on this ( or disprove me idc which i just want an answer). Can you draw on an escort map? ( gladiators map 4 vs spitfire game for reference, could that have been a draw?)

You can stall at the same checkpoint or never push the cart on both sides.

I believe you can draw on an escort map, but it’s extremely, extremely rare.

Yes. As others have said, if both teams get stuck at the same checkpoint, without gaining a single cm of the next one, then they draw

in theory if no one pushes the payload, yes. route 66 would be the only one this could happen tbh. and obviously you can draw in hybrid maps if none of you cap a tick.

to all on here, i thank you for responding but i am referencing the gladiators map 4 vs spitfire game, and wondering if that could have been a draw at all, as that what the people in discord were fighting about

Yeah it could have done. Dorado is an unlikely map for it happen on, but say they both cap A, then go absolutely no further, 1 point, 0.00m, that’s a draw

no no no you misunderstand, take where they ended the first round, could it have been a tie from that point?

Ah, from there it couldn’t have been. On Escort maps it has to be stopped at the checkpoint, if it’s somewhere between then it’s advantage team 2

okay nowim wondering if some pros had printed out layouts of the maps and had made little flanking maps and such, with areas that you cna be booped to death marked

there are maps out there that are top down so prolly coaches have stuff like that

i mean, even though they are pros, its nice to look over a map to get it fresh in your head

i mean…you can make one with screenshots by taking them from the highest you cna go with a spec cam in a custom game
