The ships in Retribution burn and break if you shoot them, but i haven’t been able to down one and I haven’t seen anyone talking about this. Can it be done? Or are the Talon mechanics really that much better that ours?

I’ll go in all heroes mode, pick DVA my friend will go bastion, the other Pharah when a ship comes over pharah and bastion will focus it down I’ll hop inside and self destruct. We’ll get back to ya if it works

Yeah I’ve heard them sound like they’re falling apart and they look like they should be exploding. But either we’ve never focused one enough or it’s not possible. I’d really like to know too.
Protip if you are a hero with vertical mobility you can land and ride on the ship

You can’t stop them from dropping off more enemies, if that’s what you’re asking.

nonono just wanna destroy a ship. they look like they are so close to exploding when you shoot them a ton. they just wont blow up

I doubt it, but also I really want to try it. Have four characters w high damage output focus fire it.
I also wonder if you can translocate inside after the doors close?
I seen it where the ships that will close to get ready to drop more, if you destory it before then, it wont drop more units. I wonder if that useful in say expert and higher.

I think it makes them stop spawning troops
though I yet to see it possible to say destory a ship before at least 1 drop off, even when using say bastion who fire at them his full turret clip into them
