Baptiste has splash to hit multiple teammates and an aoe heal ability that he can use liberally. His healing is WAY better than Ana’s regardless of her consistency at range. Especially because he has an ability to access highground, Amp his healing, and save himself from someone contesting him and/or save a teammate to make up for the 15 less heals per shot. Lul.
I just want to be clear so it’s not ok for people to say don’t shoot dm but totally fine for the shoot the immortality field argument?
That’s not entirely true, it’s much harder to hit smaller teammates, or teammates who has a good mobility… yeah his AMP healing is easy to hit but still Ana can do more healing with her shots and her healing boosting grenade…
They are still ******** about Mei and Reaper where the hell are the Baptise ones?
Idk, maybe they realized that they can destroy Immortality Field in 1,5 second?

It honestly seems that if it’s not Ana that’s the top picked support hero then it’s apparently unacceptable for another support hero to have top pick. That’s the sad truth of the apparent balancing in this game, if enough pros and/or popular streamers complain and get most of their followers to also effectively parrot the same complaint then you can be almost sure Baptiste will receive a nerf soon (or perhaps even a harsh nerf). 
This whole thread radiates the same vibe as threads from Mercy mains when Mercy was freshly reworked and their justification was “pick Sombra lol.”
Baptiste is overtuned. Period. There’s a reason he’s meta.

So many support mains are quick to cry about op DPS (don’t get me wrong, some DPS like Hanzo are op) but when somebody dares suggest that a support could be op it’s just “ur bad lol”.
Kinda hypocritical and makes me ashamed to be a support main sometimes because some of the stuff other support mains post is just pure cringe.
You could say that about almost all the heroes, since the majority of heroes rely on their abilities, but yet Sombra is one of the weakest heroes in the game lmao.

BRuh, there are so many abilities in this game that can one-shot you every 2 seconds or can burst you down in 2 seconds with far less than a 10 second cooldown. But a support should not be able to save his teammates from death with a 20 sec cooldown? LUL It has only 200 HP, all of the 31 heroes can destroy it in 2 seconds but what can you do once you got one-shotted?
Baptiste was in the game for 10 months now with almost the same stuff (except the fire-rate) and none of you said a thing. Just cuz blizzard nerfed the sh#t out of the other supports and he became meta…
Just revert his fire rate and he’ll be fine.
