As title says. It has nothing to do with your performance, if they put you into a team where you 100% loose
You can sue anyone for any reason, really… the question is really, “Would you win by suing them over 50:50?” and the answer is almost certainly no. You likely have no provable harm in a court of law, meaning no standing to sue.
I wouldn’t Sue anybody, even blizzard. It’s just too cruel.
Sue is my ex wife, btw.
I think many attorneys will hear your case at no charge. Let us know how it goes.
forced 50 50 would have to exist first…
This is the answer. Yeah you could sue. No, you have no chance of actually winning.
Are they making you play the game if you want to sue them for 50/50 then? Are you being held captive, or have you staked your life savings on it? Blink twice if you need help.
It’s incredible that people still believe that there is a 50:50 to justify the fact that Overwatch is simply not the same game they were used to in 2016.
I lose? “CONSPIRACY” (and my tinfoil hat is better than yours )
threads like this make me worry about the future of society
After you file that suit, you should sue Santa for not getting you that new bike you really wanted. You have about equal odds on both suits, but Santa has really deep pockets.
But you know guys blizzard holds a patent for their 50:50…? and when you have nothing to say in a game or sport, and a final score is decided before the game or sport even started - its called fraud or scam
Edit: pls tell me your most played hero or heroes win %
me: 55%, 52%, 52% and 40%
noooo forced 50:50 isnt reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllll
none of those numbers would indicate 50:50
please learn math
Okay, what is 50:50? 70:40? or Pinepaple:30?
if you cant figure out what 50:50 is, then you are lost already.
again, math is important, stay in school bro
cmon. what is 50:50 if not 50 and 50
you need to learn numbers.
lets take your first % of 55
that would indicate a 55:45 which is not 50:50
second % of 52
that would indicate 52:48
lets take your last one of 40%
that would indicate a 40:60
NONE of these are 50:50
If the outcome were predetermined, you might have a point, but it’s not. Their 50:50 patent only makes an outcome more statistically likely, but it is not guaranteed or fixed. There are far too many variables involved in a live match, including 10 human players who may be having a good or bad day, for Blizzard to ever really be able to guarantee a predetermined outcome. Anecdotally, I’m a solidly gold/low plat player depending on which characters I’m playing, but my quick play MMR often matches me against Masters and sometimes GM players - I don’t always lose those matches (neither do I always do poorly against the other players, but I often do).
You still need to have standing to sue, meaning you need to have some harm that has come to you because of the system you don’t like. This could be financial, social, emotional, etc., and it needs to be believable to a judge and possibly jury of peers.
Oh, and I forgot in my first post, you’ve agreed to forced arbitration in the terms of service - so that further reduces your ability to even have standing in a court. You’ll instead need to file an arbitration claim.
I think you can sue Blizzard for stealing your money if you got banned. Basically, Blizzard sets themselves up for it when they ban you for something while taking your money. The whole “ban you for any reason” does not hold up in court if the reason is illegal. Some could argue that being banned while providing no reason should be illegal, because that would legitimize theft from paying customers.
im not the one struggling with basic numbers or ratios.
Tell this to bronze who has a good day against Dia player who has a bad day in the same match… Dude stop pls. we all playing a same game, and if you take your time and open your profile, you will see the exact same things! Also write down your Win/Loss ration every day, and you will witness the same
OTherberry can I ask you something? How old r u?
