Can we test 55hps for Mercy?

You’ve seen the title I remember the time when the devs buffed her healing from 50 to 60 during beta because it wasn’t enough for the tanks I don’t propose to make it 60 again but can we test 55? to make her our favorite main healer once again

I say increase the tether range and increase LoS tether break from 1–> 3 seconds. Id rather them make her just MORE consistent.

Me personally on the experimental if Roadhog isn’t on the team and I clutch I get gold healing most of the time. I noticed pocketers (Of course that is her niche) don’t get much because they don’t clutch as well and are more focused. I personally think Baptiste is the worst support now. But yes I wouldn’t mind.

Mercy is a lot better on experimental (she benefits from it while most supports are drastically worse) but experimental is probably not going to go through so we need to balance her in a 2-2-2 context.

I don’t get why they nerfed Bap healing? it was never been a problem

I would appreciate them experimenting with supports next in the same way they did for tanks - including give mercy a heal output buff, give Zen 2 or more healing orbs :smiley:

She’s a flex if she had either a Moira or Ana in her team Brig don’t work out with Mercy comps that’s why we need to test 55

I would also like to see how shes fair if she had in addition %based heal.
X% of max life added to base heal

I can answer that for you most likely – overpowered. She’s already not in a bad spot when paired with the right supports, any meaningful percentage heal added to her base heal would throw her way over the top.

I don’t think of any big numbers, something like 1% -2% at max

+6-12hps for main tank (600hp base)
+4-8hps for off tank
+2-4hps for DPS

This would combat the problem that she could make a DPS “immortal” if her base hps get’s too high

We actually need to buff Mercy in order to balance the other off-supports. Mercy is not OP nor strong she’s decent that could use a little tweaks

Mercy as she currently stands is really quite bad,
Lucio and even Zenyatta are better picks where utility is concerned (as soon as Blizzard finds out what to do with Zen, watch Mercy fall behind even him)

Her healing doesn’t compete with the other main healers and even lacks behind Brigitte’s
while I agree her healing shouldn’t compare to Ana’s due to it’s consistency,
60hps isn’t even half of what Ana can pump out with her kit

Mercy should have healing closer to Moira’s and Brigitte’s for the sole reason she is single target
not AoE

single target healing should always trump AoE healing unless the healing is secondary to a heroes kit (I.E. Zenyatta)

you’ll find a lot of Mercy players duo for the only reason that playing her with a DPS you know is good makes her that much better than rolling the dice and queuing solo

No hero should require another to function IMO
for example, people like going on about “tank synergy” when that’s just something that hold the tanks back and helps make the META stale

55 for Baptiste too. My only concern OTHER than his Primary fire is his immortality field. They keep nerfing it because its “too strong and op” as stated by some people. I dont see why it cant be reworked to a damage reduction instead. No one except Orisa and Experimental Roadhog had that as an Ability. Instead of not falling under 20%, how about all damage reduced by 30%? Of course it wouldn’t stack with Nano and Fortify. Thats just too strong.

If we would take a base hps 54 and 2% max HP per second:
Tanks heal: 66hps (based on 600hp)
Off-tank: 62hps (based on 400hp)
DPS: 58hps (based on 200hp)

We still can tune down base hps by one.
Blizzard would probably never test it because they like straight forward homogeneous design (stated something like this in the past), but it could solve her problem.
