Can we talk about D.va literally dying for her country

Because you sausage, she’s more likely to live from a tremendous fall into the ocean with no one around than surviving at the center of a huge explosion. You might not be able to escape a fire, but you don’t jump into the flames

The impact of hitting the ocean was likely to shatter her bones, and even if she survived that, help would still be a good distance out while she’d be drowning

well, that’s how mary sue works. They young, good looking, skilled in everything, getting in dangerous situations, but never actually die because plot armor is thicker than Mei.

That only proves my point you bratwurst.

The point where you were trying to misrepresent the ops point you sausaged meat that I don’t know because I’m not a meat enthusiast even if they’re tasty and delicious ?

Wow… God bless you D.Va sacrificing for your country. Thank you for your service. Literally dying.

The point is not allowing devolution of language.

Nah, Chu confirmed their captain is “Captain Myung”, who doesn’t go out into battle.

Calling the misusage of “literally” an evolution of language is quite the stretch, and you know it.
OP did use it correctly though.

Here’s something to think about though, if D.va was ready to die for her people, why did she bail out of the mech? Why not just shoot the core point-blank? I reckon she was ready to die, but did her best to increase chances of survival. Which in my eyes is even cooler, shows that she’s practical and level-headed.

It would’ve been great if she died a hero for me.

People are missing OP’s use of “literally” in that she clinically died. Was brought back, but was, at one point, clinically dead. That is good enough to warrant use of “literally dying”.

I wouldn’t necessarily phrase it that way myself but you don’t need to go to “evolution of language” to defend OP’s use of the word.
