Seriously this is getting annoying. Posts talking about how Valorant is better than overwatch and they’re leaving overwatch to go play it.Most of them are fake anyway. They all say the same thing. “I’m leaving overwatch to go play valorant.” I’m not complaining about that people are playing valorant, people can play whatever they like. I’m complaining about how many people are spamming threads with the same topic.
From what I can tell, Valorant doesn’t even look like overwatch, or have the same game style.
If you want to leave, don’t make a super long paragraph including your life story, and how bad overwatch is, just leave.
It depends. For the ones that are like “I’m going to valorant, screw blizzard this and screw blizzard that” yeah I agree. But I think leaving ow posts carry some weight when done right. The devs need to understand why people are leaving.
I get what you’re saying, but I’m more talking about the ones that are like “overwatch sucks, valorant is awesome”. Somebody won’t stop pestering me with their alt account after I called them out.
People on these forums like to be overly dramatic. I have been here since June 2016, when the game first launched. The first “Is the game dying?” posts appeared during that summer. Remember when everyone was jumping on the LawBreakers bandwagon and were leaving Overwatch then? Remember all the meme posts made by all the armchair activists last year flooding the main page asking how to delete their Blizzard accounts (and encouraging others to follow suite)?
Pay these posts no mind. They will disappear when given enough time and be replaced by the next big annoying fad.
I’m just upset at how a lot of them are fake. One of them is still chatting after he made the “i’m leaving overwatch” post. He even went far enough to get his alt account out to continue annoying me.
I just wish that people would quit this. They all seem like they’re just trying to get attention.
“If you dislike OW and are deciding to leave it, don’t bother trying to be helpful and explaining why you dislike it and what could be done to fix it because constructive criticism is a big no no”
I particularly love the ones who announce their departure with the intention of trying to put the hurt on Blizzard’s bottom line:
“Hopefully they’ll learn about their mistakes because I’m leaving.”
“You lost a customer.”
“Never again.”
“Game will die.”
“For too long…”
Get over yourself. You bought the game, Lootboxes, Skins, Tickets to OWL, Blizzcon, Alt-accounts, viewed (or just opened) their streams for sprays and kept coming back for annual events while complaining how they are always the same.
They can afford a mass player exodus. You all gave them the ability to not care. The best part?
I mean what do you expect of Johnny Weeb and his 14-year old superiority complex that never got out of Gold? It’s all those non-skill heroes fault right? He thinks he will go to Valorant and prove his worth… LMAO…
Can these Valorant threads just stop completely?
It’s getting annoying to even see a topic related to that game.
And at this point any valorant-related thread is considered as a spam.
(Not that im the one reporting as but idc at this point even if I waste my flags for them.)
But anyways…I hate to break it to those guys who says that but they leaving this game for another one (it’s just like the exact times when apex happend), people do NOT care if you leave or not. It’s kinda cringe to even say such things like that & beg for attention with those kinda threads. And this thread even gives more attention to them just by caring about it.
Valorant and Overwatch are entirely different. The only similarity they share is the abilities, but even Riot has said, “This game mostly resembles CS:GO” and people still make the comparison to Overwatch as if it’s the most comparable one.
Saying, “I’m quitting OW for Valorant” is not going to make the devs go, “shoot, we should do faster balancing for the sake of our players”. And people making the comparison that Riot is being proactive with their game fail to remember that it’s in beta…which is why Riot is so responsive lol
Sure. But there’s a similar threads to this one aswell.
And by making you aswell, throw a fit about it with making yet another thread, similar to the other ones is just pointless at this point.
Cause you know, if you’d just ignore and flag them, those threads would go away regardless.
