This system is always compared to real world teams. And just like real world teams some players are going to be better than others.
Some members on your silver team maybe silver now but over time will end up bronze. Some members will stay silver others are on their way to gold or higher. But right now they’re silver.
It would be nice to know… perhaps a separate graphic if pbsr is actually in affect. I figured pbsr is the “salary” (except dumb first round pick signing bonus - it’s like starting new players in gold… oh wait).
The issue I find with this, pbsr rewarding in sr is merging wins/lost dimension with performance dimension. Just asking for a separation.
I guess that’s why I like overbuff. Seeing that I am the best reaper aim is kinda funny, but it’s good to know that my reaper aim perhaps does not need to be improved.
And no it doesn’t work. Any PBSR system the consistently rates someone is below average even with above average win ratios after about a thousand games, clearly has no idea of what above average is.
Besides you could see the game’s amazing ability to detect what value is by playing the AI on the hardest difficulty. It’s so bad because it doesn’t know what value is and thus can’t make valuable plays.
I just want to note - this request is more on the line of simply reveling more information.
Its funny how people cant separate the request to change the game just to provide more info vs “change the rigged match maker”… (I guess they see who is making the posts and they begin to form their response without reading the content).
You have to admit having a “battlelog” of how much SR gain / loss - maybe who was on your team… stuff like that is not available but pretty basic stuff. We have the replay system (another suggestion of mine) - but it wipes out after patches which is ok - but still not showing who wins or loses.
Anyway this request was more on the info… if I am catagorically not doing well according to PBSR - it would be nice to know. Right now I have to use an official source (OW) and an Unofficial source (Overbuff) to figure out if theres is something I need to work on (again I love self improvement and I love to watch overbuff to measure myself against others).
So again this is more a long the lines of … can we just get more info… if the devs are afraid to tackle something bigger can we at least get more info
Make a topic and I can discuss it further about client service relationships. I can peak into my MBA books and the information I gathered when I made my app games.
Another example of not recognizing a request to change the system but rather display more information.
Please I implore you, go back and read the content. If I win or lose 5 games but my PBSR is up or down, it would be nice to know I am at least I am on the wrong path… maybe it could indicate I should take a break… stuff like that.
Yeah it’s not like blizzard hasn’t released a ton of patches addressing player issues and quality of life changes and stuff that we have requested before, most recently the ability to mute text chat.
I must admit, this group has definitely chased me off the forum… its to a point where they see who posted and its an auto knee jerk reply of “no” - whatever he is saying - just no.
dizzam, never knew MBA had books! perhaps you should re-open those “books” and take a lesson or two from them.
client service relationships is not an advanced topic, so i highly doubt that would be covered in an MBA, if you actually completed an MBA you would know that those are specialization degrees.
and if your MBA was in client services i would ask for a refund.
Yea make a post about how balance changes, RQ, the patches screen… are not “molding the game” yadda yadda… they make changes to retain clients / customers. This was just one more suggestion that might the community understand and resolve frustrations.
This thread is a simple post highlighting an advanced part of the system that people have trouble grasping and making it more display friendly.
