Can we salvage a mythic skin?

Yeah, you got this “mythic shop” with “shard” or whatever where you can choose a skin you’d like to get, but that thing happened in like season 11 or 12. Before that you got a battle pass you got one specific skin and that was it, good day to you.
I got the season 7 pass for the Azmodan Hammond skin alone. I never play Hanzo and never will, but I have his mythic becuase of that. I got the season 5 pass for the Rein skin and highlight intro, but I have the Tracer mythic skin and will never play Tracer.
Can’t you go to this mythic shop and be like: “Yeah, I would like to exchange this skin for them shards, please”? Maybe I’ll keep the Tracer one, cause I at least like it, but I’d get rid of Hanzo in an instant (so long as it doesn’t give you 40% of the value or something).

Of course not. That would be consumer-friendly, we can’t have that.

Also OP did not consider the costs it takes for the artist to create a skin. What does OP expect Blizzard tell vendors ?

Honestly 40% of the value is a little higher than I would expect for a feature like that. I would almost expect it to be 30% just to make it something you would heavily not want to do, given that if it were 100% 1 BP is every mythic on demand which dries up the revenue for the game quickly and the game dies.

So many people would salvage the Orisa skin. I would in a heartbeat.

I asked that before and I doubt they would do that for us.
I have loads of mythics I don´t want, cause I was getting BP for other cosmetics.

You are asking for too much from Blizzard.
Nothing in the current system is consumer-friendly.

Rivals has a better system where you only unlock the battle pass tiers you like, and save the remaining XP-points (purple currency) for future use.

I hope Blizzard will feel the pressure because of that and improve this awful monetization.
