Can we revoke roadhog licenses for try-hard switchers?

I always look forward to a good hog mirror game. They’re not always fun because they are, more often than not, decided by the support picks on each team (if one has Ana and the other doesn’t you know who will probably win), but the constant juking hooks and trying to get your hook in before theirs or catch them in an environment kill is always guaranteed to get the adrenalin flowing.

Recently though, QP hog players seem to be more and more try-harding. By that I mean that they swap to a hard counter - orisa or mauga usually - after their first death. This is in QP and they immediately switch to counter. Often they have the better comp against hog - like having Ana while I have mercy/lucio or something else just as bad.

These people should have their license to play hog (or other heroes that suffer the same - DVa mirror and one swaps Zarya after first death for no other reason than being a try-hard in QP).

It’s understandable heroes on other roles switching - like going Ana is a no-brainer into Hog - but breaking the mirror to hard counter ON FIRST DEATH is, to me, just sad.

It’s 2025. You’re playing counterwatch. People are more interested in the hero spreadsheet than actually learning to master something.

Play 6v6. Problem solved.

I did play 6v6 for a while, but that had a bunch more problems like me having to solo-tank half my games against double tank on the other team, often with only 1 support on mine.

Hog may be good in 6v6, but he’s not a good solo tank.

Don’t play quick play 6v6. Play comp. Most games people pick 2 tanks in comp

If there are 3 dps go all in on the throwing and lock in a 4th one. One of them will swap real quick
