Can we please replace Mei's wall with something less "trolly"?

I mean, most of the time, it’s probably unintentional, but Mei’s wall is annoying for both teams. I can’t count how many times I’ve used Bastions Ult, only for OUR Mei to wall right in front of it. Or how many times I’m sitting behind cover and our Mei puts a wall under my butt and raises me out of it.

Most of it isn’t trolling or throwing, but sometimes it is and it’s extremely disruptive when it’s intentional. Mei is THE throwpick hero because of her wall.

Maybe they could lengthen its time, give it more health, but make it too small to block off entire large doorways or even pathways for that matter. Or even just keep its width, but make it only just tall enough to use for cover.

I prefer Mei to be on the enemy team, because at least then I can kill her to stop her shenanigans.

Yeah it’s so incredibly annoying. I also report our teams Mei if they block off our spawn room. Being 5 seconds late to a fight, especially on king of the hill is a massive disadvantage.

I don’t, because I really don’t like being frozen helpless by a Mei that creeped up on me. I also get annoyed that she can escape certain death with Cryo-Freeze, no matter how bad of a situation she gets herself in.

The Mei’s wall is a crucial part of her kit, i think it needs the wal blueprint to be visible to teammates

I think its fine, its just player dependancy on how they use it

I provide good walls here and there for example, one time a friend who played Rein got hooked, I immidieately walled off the Hog and saved my friend, on another time, I accidentally boosted up an ulting enemy Mccree instead of walling him of, yea, yikes.

I swear, that one move separates the good mei’s from the bad.

The bad ones are always throwing walls in front of their own team mates abilities and not realizing it… or throwing it right where my shield is (as a rein or orisa) and it’s like… “uh, thanks? I’m glad we’re not taking damage, but it’d be nice to be able to shoot out at them too” lol

one of the scariest things of playin mei for me is placing a bad wall and gettin blamed honestly XD

meis usually put walls in front of your shield if they see cracks or hear reinheardt’s my shiled is about to break line… you know so they can recharge their shield.

it’s like the internet, you can do so many amazing things with it and all we focus on are the few poopheads that get off of annoying people

I hate friendly Meis who block my path coming out the spawn. If that happens, I just leave the game.

The wall is also good for splitting enemy teams or isolating over extenders to be focused, but that takes some skill.

I get that, but “so few” is an understatement in quick play lol. Bad Mei’s far-outnumber the good ones. And even the good ones are capable of dropping bad walls.

I still think Mei’s wall should be like Rein’s shield. I mean I get that it’s a wall, but for allies it should have the option to walk through it.

I think that would help against trolls or players who accidentally place it down.

A blue print would work too.

I tend to wall off enemies if theyre coming from the point. Like on the first point on numbani the main route, its great for splitting up enemies and makes it easier to kill them off.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve benefited from a nicely placed wall here and there, but that’s a bit less often than how often I’m annoyed or even disrupted by them.

Its hard for me to see sometimes where Im placing my wall because its just a mark in the floor, better would be having a semitransparent wall before actually placing it

But it would kind defeat the purpose of a wall

I mean lets say they can cross over it, but it also means you can elevate your teammates like if you want to get to higher ground like for example making the gap on the left side of hanamura on the last point.

But yeah, I wish there was a blue print that teammates can see or you can see the blue print of the wall before you place it, or both.

Better yet, not only this, but make it to where teammates can pass through it for up to 2 seconds of it being placed.

exactly! I personally think Mei’s kit is under appreciated…
