It’s not like he’s tearing up the charts. I doubt it’s effin’ helix self-damage that’s keeping Soldier from being OP. But it sure is salt in the wound when you’re already comparatively pretty weak, and pushes duels against in-your-face types from Megamillions odds into Powerball territory.
So, c’mon, throw Soldier a bone? If you’re not gonna give us 20 dmg/shot or something better than tickle damage at range, at least give us this small change. It would be greatly appreciated.

Understandable. But the way tanks can just run down and slaughter Soldier is already pretty funny, no? I mean, he’s supposed to be the “mobile” guy, and half the tanks can run him down no prob. And then teabag, because the only acceptable tbagging in OW is for kills you get without any danger to yourself, at least judging by experience.
sounds like your sprint pathing is pretty bad if you arent getting back behind your team. most tanks cant get you there without risk, and if its a dive tank they have already commited to you if you’re running
I’m usually flanking, so if a Winston or Doom or whatever decides they’re going to chase me to the ends of the earth (which happens a lot, weirdly --I had a Hazard chase me for nearly thirty seconds without my team helping at all, literally ran through my team and they just ignored us both) I’m kind of effed. But I can accept that. I just wish they’d get rid of the self-damage.
4v4 for 30 secs with no tank on one team? sounds like a win in my book. i would gladly take that trade. the self damage is such a rare case besides using it for movement its irrelevant. position better when fighting, you shouldnt be breathing down enemies necks lol
Yeah, it definitely wasn’t rational. It was still a bit annoying though that no one helped. Just wondering, is that common behavior among tank players that they just lock in and chase one dude forever? Or do tank players just really hate solider? Cuz seriously, happens all the time with me.
depends on hero, but generally no. unless im really annoyed with one player i dont really do it.
reins will solo shatter because its funny, maugas will solo cage because its funny.

I assume Junkrat had his self damage removed because his grenades were too bouncy. Soldier and Pharah’s projectiles are controlled in a straight line. You’ll more or less know where they’re going.
