I’d be more than happy to wait longer for better game quality. Screw faster queue times at the expense of matchmaking. I mean yes lately the games are getting better, but I’ve seen some horrifically balanced matches. That is no fun on either the team getting rolled or doing the rolling. It provides negative experience and players learn absolutely nothing whatsoever.

I 2nd this. And 3rd this, because I’m the highest ranked OW player in my entire house. And I play at 3am and OP is correct, we’d rather wait a few more minutes, we promise.

I’m usually low gm support. Put me in an instant queue high diamond game against another low gm support and I’m happy.
The fact this is the only F2P game with “off hours” and “peak hours”.

not that I’m judging here, but what kind of a lifestyle only permits you free time to play a game at 3:00 AM
This is my experience so take it as you will.
On my main, when I q qp in main role, I usually get Diamond-GM players in my games. BUT, if I am a backfill there is a very very very high chance the lobby will be golds and silvers.
Just something I noticed. So maybe leave backfills, since they do not count against you.
