Can we please do something about Echo’s Sticky Bombs?

The things can do a max of 180 damage in a burst, that has splash damage, doesn’t require any headshots and is on a SIX SECOND COOLDOWN. Like come on. It’s been so strong ever since she was released

How would you even headshot with them

PATCH NOTES
ECHO: Sticky bombs are no longer sticky and will drop to the floor.

Aiming them at a head?

Really I thought you had to aim for their hands

Same way you headshot with baby D.Va or Mercy.

I don’t see the relation

Yeah but like do the explosions crit? They move so slowly that I feel like headshots with them would feel more accidental than Hanzo arrows.

tbh

it wouldnt hurt if they took longer to detonate either

Did they remove the damage when they stick onto you? when they stick to you they do 5 damage each or smth before they even detonate… which I find really unfair because if they’re stuck to you, you’re most likely going to take a lot of damage anyway lol…

Some games have explosive crits; however, no explosive does that in Overwatch, obviously. So I would guess that the “stick” damage would be doubled which is pointless…

And you would need to buff pulse bomb for consistency. It is not really worth it.

I find the sticky bombs not very strong in practise. And for some weird and unknown reason they sometimes don’t even deal any damage. Do these bombs have a line of sight mechanic when stuck on a player or so?

no

When I play support, I always heal target, who got sticky bomb - you can pretty much overheal it and fulfil hp in no time.
