He hasn’t been viable for almost 2 years.
Get rid of Shadow Step and give him something actually good or give him armor piercing bullets so he can actually counter tanks.

Honestly, I want to keep the shadow step. I just want it to be usable for more than just getting to the high-ground. I LOVE the idea of armor piercing rounds, however. Finally make him the tank buster he was meant to be.

He is broken against lower/unorganized teams. Even with brig he is still not to bad. Biggest problem I see when people play him is bad use of abilities.

GOOD GOD NO.
As a man who has 250+ hours on tanks, this would be nightmarishly OP. He’s already a big threat to tanks due to none of them having an effective CC to counter him (bar Rein’s ult, which can be dodged with ease), and with the Brigitte nerfs? Reaper is strong if played right.
A brawl comp upfront distracting the team whilst a reaper comes round back and dives the supports? Hellishly strong. He just takes more co-ordination than you’d think.

To be fair, when you have two worthless abilities (which includes his ultimate), it can be hard to find a use for them. I cannot recall who stated it; however, it might have been Spirit, something about how Wraith usage determines the skill of a Reaper.

What do you mean, I am constantly seeing Reaper solo carry games. I gave Reaper a shot about a month ago and went like 30 and 1. He’s fine lol.

I think his gun is fine. Its just that his abilities could use some buffs.
Shadow step would be functional if he could use it during wraith form.
His ult is basically a massive shield buster, if you’ve seen how it’s been reworked against Rein.
Roadhog is usually melted by Reaper. Dodge the hook, he’s a breeze. Winston has 100 armour, two shots and it’s all gone. Zarya has nothing against him, and can only block one or two shots, whilst he can two shot her point blank. Orisa? Too slow, nothing to escape him, only stall her death with fortify. Rein? Fairly obvious; rein cannot do anything if Reaper is a couple feet out of his hammer reach. Hammond, I have yet to test.
He can one shot nearly every DPS in the game. His shadow step change that I suggested would be considerably better than buffing any form of DPS or self heal he currently has.

Take no dmg and have a movement speed buff, oh and to any high ground ya want… I would not call that worthless… Id say mcrees roll is more worthless then either of those by far…I play around high plat and I see people at that rank tp in front of widows and then cry when they get head shot instantly. Some people just dont know how to use his stuff and im just left sitting here like how tf did you get out of bronze doing that.
Everytime I read this kind of comment is ALWAYS from someone that has played Reaper for barely an hour.

Well reper has the mobility of between on 76 and ginji reper has kinda the same play style to sombra with a get in get out but can do a looooot more dmg then her and his ulti is an instant 6 man against gold teams. Most of the time people play him they just end up feeding… If you buff him then he will destroy at lower ranks and would cause the same thing that happen when brig was added where you had one tricks in top 500 who were in diamond the season b4
