you’re not a fan of push because you keep losing. Let me explain.
Push map is by far one of the best fundamental game modes. You just need to understand how it works. The push mode progress is based on your team being the only people in the push radius of the bot. If you don’t like push map, it’s because your team is not consistently wininng teamfights. The whole purpose of the push map is to encourage winning teamfights, so the more you win, the more progress you get. I didn’t like it at first either, until I understood what the purpose was. Also, because the spawns are so far away, it is trying to encourage dying less.
In short, winning team fights and dying less= more fun!
Probably never. Overwatch mastery includes playing all game modes. If more modes get added, you should start seeing Push less.
No. I win as much as I lose, neither feels good. Wins don’t feel good. Losses don’t feel good. The game takes too long, players don’t understand how to play it, it’s just not a fun mode. Especially the walking simulator portions. I love the maps, they’re beautiful, just turn them into escort/hybrid maps.
I agree to this to some extent, I am talking about the overall and what happens game which I find fun, others may have a different opinion on this tho. I understand it can be stressful right now because people don’t know how to play it right now.
Push feels amazing. The routes, the excitement, the upsets, the sneaky beaky like, the mirror. Control and push only playlist if I could.
And that’s different from all the other modes how exactly?
payload moves back, but nearly as fast or as far. The robot has to go back to your block or back to the enemies, so it can be limbo in between forever, unlike other where something has to move or not move. or moving the “actual objective for progress.” more team fights is more distance.
Ironic considering Assault mode can only be found in arcade and custom games.
Not a fan of push because of game length if it was half the time (max 7 minutes and the maps not like travelling across narnia it’d be better)
2CP was back in the arcade today and honestly the most fun I’ve had xD. I wish they’d bring it back.
As someone who plays almost exclusively QP and is pretty low ranked, I hate Push because it takes trickling to a whole new level. Most of the Push matches I play are decided by which team trickles less.
Let the bot heal like the Payload, so if we lose a support or 2 we can be a little more prepared for the next team fight.

Lol. I should have said core game modes. Assault got pulled out of the core game modes.
I dislike Push. I haven’t liked it and the more I play it the less I like it. I used to despise Control but Push has taken its spot as my least liked map type. I’m also a heretic because I liked Assault. It wasn’t my favorite but I still like it more than Control and a hell of a lot more than Push. Payload and Hybrid are the best with which I find better more based on individual maps than the types.
I’d like them to do the same with push.
Next week they could add it back and take out Control maps. Depends on the weather.
Push is garbage mode. Instead of a progression you are stuck going back and forth for 10 minutes. The timer should be half or so
I think if they made so that if neither team pushes the bot to the end, whichever team had possession of the bot for the longest amount of time (on both sides of the map) wins. So all those failed pushes all the way back to mid count for something. Right now an early lead feels almost insurmountable.
I don’t lose them and I still hate them so explain please.
