I’ll get this out of the way up front. I hate Doomfist with a burning passion. He is right there with Genji, Lucio, and Sombra in my most hated list. I also hate the persistent myth the he requires skill. His cooldowns are almost nonexistent and he’s incredibly mobile.
HOWEVER
I am not writing this because of those reasons. I want him nerfed because he is in every single match, and I constantly have to swap to counter him, which isn’t fun.
Pick rate doesn’t mean overpowered, and don’t nerf tanks until the tank role is fixed.
Can we talk about how you just said Lucio is on your most hated list.

I’ll clarify. I don’t hate Lucio’s character. I hate his kit.
I find this even more outrageous. I find his personality annoying but his kit is undeniably very healthy.
I do think his punch and lucios boop both being on 4 seconds is a problem. Way too short of cooldowns paired with the CC
You think he should have infinite wallride? At least Pharah required skill to stay in the air indefinitely.

Lucio is NOT fun to face if you don’t have a coordinated team and they do. It’s just an instant loss

Hey, Tracer isn’t fun to face either when your team isn’t as coordinated. I’ll admit that. However, I consider Lucio to be worse because he enables everyone with speed boost. The worst thing that can happen against Tracer is not having any peels. Against Lucio you just get ran over by the entire team lol
I am going to be honest I have won many games as Lucio simply standing in a corner on heal aura, spamming the choke and booping every carnage. I genuinely believe that all that stuff about Lucio movement is overrated for the vast majority of maps.
I agree. Hes definitely not balanced for regular players. The windows of downtime are too short, pinning him down is near impossible between so many ways to escape death. The difficulty of keeping the crosshair on him, that much bully power and a ‘punishes you for shooting your gun at the enemy’ ability combine to make him a very unfun hero to go up against. No longer even having the option of going Sombra and making him unplayable has really taken away peoples only real option to get him under control when needed.
Blizz need to be balancing heroes around the regular playerbase and recognizing that sometimes its better for the health of a game if some heroes aren’t useable in comp as a consequence.
