Can we move ZEN to DPS

Can we move ZEN to DPS? He does very little healing with only 1 heal orb ( maybe give him 2-3) and most of the time they are just DPS’n.

A hero doesn’t have to heal to be in the support category. He supports his team with discord orb which enables them to finish targets faster, and thus they will take less damage when they will die faster.

Plus he has one of the highest healing ults in the game.

Support already has the fewest heroes of any role. Why wouldn’t you just want to make him a better healer rather than give support even fewer options?

hell yes u are right

he’s a super strong support. only reason he isn’t good right now is because of burst creep. nerf hitscans or buff armor then he’s solid.

Zen is fine, he will back when dive comes back.
Removing him from support category is a death sentence for him

Wow… you really managed to define a new big gap… the time gap between the former stupiest statement on the forums and yours now.

I had to wash my eyes to believe this.

kinda nice idea, but i think stacking soldier/zen/moira/bap would be the next goats then

Tell that to Symmetra.

What a novel idea. Let’s take a support hero and move them to the damage category. This has never been done before and will surely end well.

Your suggestion is on the basis that a “support character” must heal in order to be considered a support, which is simply not true. Supports, by definition, provide tactical advantages to their teams, regardless of their methods to do so.

Speaking generally - Supports can offer anything from increased team mobility to extra shields, armor, higher base HP, damage increases, and so on. They may even do the opposite effects to opponents (like causing them to take more damage or move slower).

With that in mind, I’d argue that Symmetra is STILL a support character. The only reason Blizzard dropped her from the Support Roster was because her Support Abilities didn’t make an impact as easily as characters like Mercy. So they reworked her support abilities to a weaker state and buffed her damage enough to call her a DPS. However, no one can deny that teleport and barrier are support abilities - especially at higher skill levels.

As far as Zenyatta is concerned, I think you could increase the healing of orb, but that wont keep him alive… He’s squishy and dies too easily because of power creep, not a lack of healing. I think the better solution here would be to buff the effectiveness (not the capacity) of Armor and Shields. That’d also help out Reinhardt after all of his nerfs…

This is how you get GOATs, do you want GOATs?

Yea, let’s take another hero from the support category and give them to the bloated dps category. That will help with the queue times.

Also, he absolutely fits in the support category. He doesn’t just support with his healing orb. He also has his discord orb which helps allies focus and confirm kills and transcendence. He may do more DPS in exchange for less healing but still supports his team.

Sure, while we are at it, lets move solider to support, and hog to damage, and Mei to tank.

No, lets not do this.

Give his Harmony Orb burst damage protection so it will cause a one shot to leave 1HP if the target was at full health. Suddenly we have a reliable OHKO counter while not affecting sustain DPS or making tanks unkillable.

GOD AIM WIDOW BEZ SUPPURTTTTOOO

I had many games with zen out heal anas in the end. His ult is great for healing done.
