Can we hide slides and tiles in the battle net launcher?

Some stuff I’m not into, and its repetitive and annoying. For example the skin and currency ads, among other things. Why can’t we have some agency for what we see in the Bnet launched in 2024?

The entire reason of that launcher is to give you ads.

However since the game is on Steam now there is literally no reason to even use it.

So you’re not interested in a recolor of a skin that came out 4 years ago?

Cause I got another offer for you if you’re not interested………

Seeing that ugly guy wearing makeup at the bottom of the launcher is getting old.

Ok…for real answer now…

You guys look at the launcher? I have an OW shortcut on desktop and once it launches the launcher (don’t you just love the stupidity of that) I click the play button

I honestly don’t know what’s on there atm

hmm is there any way to disable the launcher? keeping it from opening on its own? Because ill do whatever that is at this point for the next month or so.

You can just make a shortcut to Overwtach.exe to skip the launcher entirely but you will have to type your email and password every time when logging in.

Not true. Battle.net doesn’t announce to all your Steam friends that you are playing Overwatch 2.

Unironically, how embarassing to be caught playing OW2 in 2024.

But I’m pretty certain you can hide your activity in specific games from appearing on your Steam profile.

 don’t remind me…

Learn to speedrun launching the game ig? :sob:

You can disable that unless you are only ashamed of playing OW.

all my wow guildies, irl friends, and friends I made in OW haven’t been on in years… makes me wonder where and how I went so wrong to be the one holding the bag
