I have some things I’d like to say to every single one of the dozens of forum members who stated over the last several years on dozens of Pink Mercy request threads that Pink Mercy will never be back, cant ever come back, wont ever come back, shouldnt ever come back…

…but…

those statements would probably get me in trouble with the forum mods, so I will not type them out

Instead I will just say that the statement released by Blizzard simply alludes to the many folks who have continued to ask for it over the years.

I was one of those

Many others were as well, too many to name, but certainly CB was at the forefront, and I hope he is seeing all this happen now

I am full of joy at the moment

Thank you to everyone who added their names to the request

Beyond that, words fail me.

• It’s “Never”—ever—coming back!

  • It’s ~exclusive!~
  • Blizzard has no plans for the skin to return!

• People didn’t buy it out of good faith, or even want it for that reason!

  • Just donate straight to the BCRF! You don’t need a skin for that!
  • Just buy a used account with Pink Mercy, TOS be damned!

• Blizzard doesn’t own the skin! BCRF wants nothing to do with Blizzard!

  • Too much negotiating and red tape!
  • It’s just some nobody PR rep on the BCRF Twitter that said they’d be interested in seeing the charity drive skin return—not an official statement of interest!

The gatekeepers are all going to be so mad…

You did the hardest work keeping the interest alive on these forums. Please pop some Champaign and pat yourself on the back for us.

Now, about that “6v6 is never/can’t/should not return” thing…

I started that derail with him. I was trying to show that a lot of trusted ‘sources’ are not good.

He did try to take that debate to Twitter, but i don’t have a twitter and never will use that platform. And I started that debate. Politics and covid, 2 things we can’t talk openly about on many platforms such as this, and I talked about them both.

I was actually looking into the trust levels… I used to have a 2 prior to being suspended. Now, apparently, I’m a 0.
