Winston is running wild in QP right now with no end in sight. His counters don’t even counter him anymore except Ram and maybe Dva. There nothing you could do but waste every last resource on him to TRY and stop him. FIX YOUR GAME BLIZZARD!

I play a lot of winston. A good counter to him is any support that’s paying attention. If supports just heal whoever he’s diving, they’ll just laugh at him while he tickles them with him gun.
Just heal and shoot his bubble.

You should watch them try to run from a mauga who melts their bubble in under 2 seconds and then hits E, that is how you deal with the ape.

So…that’s also how you counter Tracer. But you have an issue with her and not Winston? And with Tracer you can actually kill her solo.

I’m not sure you actually play this game. Tracer’s burst is a lot higher than winston’s. You don’t just heal through a good tracer. She’s been S or A tier for years for a reason. Monkey has not.
And why do you post to the forums from 5 different accounts? You actually have to go out of your way to swap what account you post from.

Winston, in a QP environment where he’s not coordinating with Dive DPS heroes, is a game sense and positioning check, kinda like Bastion and Torb. If the supports know how to peel there is nothing he can do, all of them except Zen and Lucio basically cancel out or even outheal his damage.

Ummm…this is Qrow. Yes you do. Tracer can barely kill through Zen orb. Any healing at all cripples her kill potential, provided her target has half decent movement.
Not because she can kill through healing, that’s for sure.
If you don’t have any issue with Winston you can stop complaining about Tracer. Otherwise you’re biased. Neither of them can kill you if you’re getting healed.

I thought Mauga basically shredded him, no? Or is Mauga underperforming right now?
Having to run one badly designed Tank to counter another isn’t really good design.
I don’t think Winston is op, but I do think that he’s one of the most oppressive and tilting heroes in the game. Solo, it feels like there’s just nothing you can do. And it’s actually made WORSE by his slow TTK, because you have a solid 3-5 seconds of running away knowing you’re almost always going to die.
I won’t call him a balance issue but I absolutely don’t like Winston.

220 damage per second cant chew through 30 heals per second?
except when the winston decides to dive the support…which almost always happens…

I just go Reaper and stay close to my supports waiting the Winston to jump. They see from miles away and can’t do anything and change their tank.

Nah, she does so much damage and does it so quickly, this just isn’t true. You have to be an absolute trash, plastic 5, <2% accuracy Tracer player to be “crippled” and barely out-damage a Zen orb.

I tried D.Va, i cant do much against Winston after the armor buff

You gotta use aimbot to get that level of damage per second against real players, or smurf really hard to farm new players.

even reinhardt counters winston if your team plays well together

ngl i have found cassidy annoying to play into as rein bc he keeps flashing me while i am charging into him, at least its not the old flashbang
