Can we add a way to prioritize different characters' audio?

So, when talking about Doomfist people usually say something along the lines of "He’s extremely loud so it’s your fault if he jumps on you.

The problem with this, for me, is that in the thick of a fight there are a lot of sounds going on. Guns are blazing, characters are yelling, footsteps are everywhere.

Sometimes I can hear Doomfist in the thick of the fight, but other times there is simply too much going on and then he gets me from behind and I’m just left thinking
“I wish I could literally make enemy Doomfists louder than other characters”.

Other times I hear my Doomfist teammate and turn towards him on edge because I think he is the enemy. This, rarely, leads to some deaths since I was distracted by my teammate. This happens with Tracer blinks for me too sometimes.

What do you guys think? I feel like there is a limit to how many sounds we can perceive at the same time, so it almost feels like luck on what you’re allowed to hear and react to in some matches.

Do you guys agree? Disagree? Let me know

Personally, I’ve never had any issues with the sound. I play on PS4 and I use the PSplatinums, which have built in 3D spatial audio. Sound is amazing in those things. In the middle of battle, any time that an enemy gets close, their sound effects override those of the ones my teammates make. So, sure, I occasionally get a little weirded out if I hear the clanking of Dvas mech from behind and its my teammate, but for the most part, the enemy is all I hear when the fight actually starts.

I get that, but sometimes the enemies that you know about are the ones that are being the loudest. What I’m specifically talking about is being unable to hear very important sounds because there are so many voice lines, sound effects, and sometimes music going on.
Perhaps it’s just in my head and it should be perfectly easy to hear Doomfist.

Eh, either way he will be getting his changes soon and will have the illusion of balance hopefully.
