Because it can be used as non-patronizing language in normal communication. Normal team communication. For example, if you’re Tracer/Hanzo “zarya save grav for ez combo”
For the same reason that “kys” has an in-game non-offensive context where it is used in text chat by people who dont want to type out “dont feed” or “jump off the map” or “dont get staggered” Just because other people are tosspots and wish others to do self harm doesn’t stop it from having an actual acceptable and conventional use.

Nah, i think the enemy just wanted to tell you that you’re bad and the game was easy due to you being bad. I don’t think they wanna tilt you, stop making up stuff.
they should ban it just to stop people making fools of themselves bragging about a win in a game so RNG heavy, super cringe, go play a hardcore competitive game you scrub.

While I disagree with OP I do think that the game should foster better sportsmanship and not enable people to act like complete jackoffs to each other.

Some people are jerks. Some people are sore winners.
Easiest way to shut them up is to win the match.
I do kinda wish there was a way to just mute the enemy team (there’s only muting chat period or individuals). I find more often than not there is very little that I want to say or hear from the other team.
