Can’t access standard loot boxes during Lunar event

I bought the GOTY Edition on the Xbox One over the weekend. On the main screen it says I have 10 loot boxes, but when I click on the loot box tab it says I have zero lunar loot boxes. Is there a way to access these standard loot boxes included with the GOTY Edition, or do I need to wait until the event is over?

There’s usually an arrow on the lootbox screen that switches the type of lootbox you’re opening. Does that option not appear for you?

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t notice anything, but I’ll have a look again when I get home from work.
