at a point in the svb 6v6 dev debate where flats is talking about tanmk having too much responsibility to bare.
just wondering if we gave baptiste a shield if that would fix the problem.
funny you choose baptiste. that hero already has shields and three health bars. (immortality field + regenerative burst) the 2 of the worst abilities in all of overwatch.
if everyone was like baptiste, I guess that’s one way to solve tanking
Sometimes, if I notice the tank having trouble, I’ll go Brig if on support, or Mei if on DPS, to try and be like a weird mini off-tank. And then I hope the enemy doesn’t swap to Pharah

The entire team DOES share the responsibility. It’s just that people decided they do not. That never really changes reality though, now does it?

DPS already does to an extent when certain tanks are being played.
If they brought back the defence role, sure. But they homogenized everyone too hard.
yeah mei and cassidy certainly have enough hp to frontline, kind of in the way queen frontlines as her hitbox is so small.

after some thinking, if we gave those 2 heros more movement speed which queen benefitrs from greatly i think cassidy would be able to tank better than queen.
