Hi, PlayStation 4 player here.
I’m thinking about getting ow for my laptop but I’m unsure if it will run ok.
Here are some specs I gathered online.
(Please don’t yell at me if it’s too much lol I know nothing about pc gaming.)
HP 15-AN050NR
Star Wars Special Edition
6th generation Intel® Core™ i5-6200U (2.3GHz with turbo boost up to 2.8GHz , 3MB L3 Cache) Dual Core
6GB DDR3L SDRAM (2 DIMM)
Intel® HD Graphics 520 with up to 3119MB total graphics memory
Windows 10, 64 bit
You can definitely run OW. But without having a dedicated graphics card I’m not sure that you should

You can at 1080p and 75% graphics scale (you’ll see the parameter in options) at 60fps

Do y’all think it would run better than my ps4 pro or should I just stick with my console?
You can…
But you lack a dedicated GPU, so don’t expect to cross the 30fps mark.
It won’t get anywhere near the ps version. If you want to move to pc on the cheap old office tower + rx 570 plus new power supply and a couple of YouTube videos then you have a gaming pc.
Systemrequirementslab dot com
On that system you can run ow on low at 1080p with 30 to 45fps or on medium at 720p with 40-60fps
Edit source. I ran ow on a pentinum g4560 and 4gb of ram at 30-60 fps at 720p. An i5 will do much better than a pentinum.
Systemrequierments lab is very unreliable.
If you’re ever not sure about a game you can always check Can I Run It on Google and it will tell you if you meet the minimum specs and how you compare to recommended
wouldn’t recommend it… I was playing on Intel HD Graphics and (while playable) it was a pixelated mess just to keep a decent fps.
the other specs look ok, but i would definitely advise having a geforce graphics card to play.
Laptops used to be shafted as it’s hard to upgrade, but now you can consider getting an “External Graphics Card” ? it loses some efficiency in the process, but it should be a net benefit.
Your laptop isn’t too different from mine. To run overwatch at 40fps I have to lower the settings entirely and turn the render scale as low as it’ll go. (I have to let it decide the render scale automatically because it turns it lower than I’m allowed to set it.)
It’s definitely playable, but it makes me feel like I need glasses.
Can and should are too different things.
I played Retribution with i5 4460 onboard video. 720p, <60fps. I figure that’s where you would be hitting.
SHould probably stick with PS4.
It could probably run overwatch but with low fps on low resolution/settings
It will not run better than ps4.On ps4 u can run it at 60 fps 1080fps full graphics and all of this.On your laptop becouse u dont have a good GPU,u are going to run it at 75% graphics scale which is horrible is like a 480p on youtube and u can get 40 fps maybe if u set all low.U should stick with ps4 becouse instead of low quality and fps i will choise controler
