Can my hero stop YELLING pre-determined voice lines?

I don’t know how many times I get close to the enemy spawn on defense, only for Reinhardt to yell “REINHARDTS THE NAME! GLORY IS MY GAME!”, then the enemy tank rolls out of spawn as Ramattra to counter me. But it’s A LOT. It’s an automatic W for the team on attack, because now I have to swap the moment I die to avoid being countered.

What’s the point of this? To intentionally bend over Reinhardt tanks?

I don’t think the enemy team can hear those lines? Only wheel voicelines and some callouts

Pre-match automated voice lines can’t be heard by enemy players.

just stay far away from enemy spawn

[x] doubt

The amount of people that come out of spawn as ram is way to high for that to be the case.

enemy actually can heard your “pre determined”(?) voice line

Have you heard the reports? A masked vigilante is running rampant in Cairo!

It’s probably less likely that they’re hearing your voicelines, and more that they can hear the GIANT ARMORED GUY WITH SUPER LOUD FOOTSTEPS walking right up to their spawn doors, which I’m not sure why your doing that to begin with. That or they’re looking out the windows and see you. Rein isn’t exactly subtle and doesn’t really blend in to his surroundings

At what point did I say I was near their spawn doors? go to practice range with a friend and see how far you can hear voicelines.

I don’t expose myself to spawn windows when possible…

I can’t take you seriously.

?

Does it work the same for teammates? I know certain sounds that enemies make can be louder then when your team does it. but I honestly don’t know if it’s the same volume all around.

You realize “close” doesn’t mean literally on top of their spawn doors, right?

Pretty sure you can be on enemy teams in practice range… if not, make a map.

How many times have you heard the enemy voicelines in your spawn. Im guessing never

You can literally hear them talking back and forth if you get close enough lmao…what an angry troll

You are the one crying about how you need to swap a tank the second you die right after they spawn, fam. Nobody cares if you take them seriously in the same way that I do not care if the enemy knows I am playing Hog. What difference does it make? Oh, no. They start with Ana? Such a rare pick!

It’s whatever, dude. They could literally just walk right back to spawn and do the same thing the second they see what you are running. It literally doesn’t make a difference.

Yea… because it makes sense to pound your face into a ramattra. Stay silver. 40,000 posts… forum trolls are cute. Touch grass.

I usually just hook him and that works. You are lucky there is no grass around, or you would be catching the blade, homie.

To be clear, I meant blades of grass. I have to put that disclosure there because the mods know I am straight gangsta and they would be worried about you, BigThings.

Also, what’s with the name? Are you trying to manifest big things? No offense intended, but if you cannot figure out not to walk up to spawn doors to get dominated by their tank every game, I am not sure big things are coming even if you slam your face into the grass that you so desperately cling to.

I have played OW for 7 years and I’m pretty sure I’ve never heard any voice lines that the enemy didn’t trigger themselves.

You can only hear your teammates as far as I’m aware.

They can probably hear your footsteps or your charge.

Lmao… yea… definitely a forum troll. bye bye, ignored.

Big Things is just a bit special. He hears things that no other Overwatch player can hear. Those voices in his head are definitely Overwatch characters because he gets out A LOT.

You can hear what the enemies are saying in their spawn when they have their interactions between each other. If you turn on subtitles you can see it too.
